1.2.0-incubating is out! Rlse notes: https://t.co/KTPPuG2Tox Highlights🧐: Spatial streaming on @ApacheFlink (Tutorial: https://t.co/2GmXAl95PH); more Spatial SQL func on @ApacheSpark; 3D geometry support! Rlse manager @pkocinski001 . Try it now!😍#BigData#gis#sql#geospatial
1.1.0-incubating is released! Raster data processing, map algebra SQL, R language API are added! Sedona now fully supports Scala, Java, SQL, Python and R! This release is tested on Scala 2.11-2.12, Spark 2.4-3.1 and Python 3.7-3.9 #ApacheSedona#GIS#apachespark#BigData@TheASF
My first @WSUPullman lead PI proposal received $1.25M funding from NSF @EarthCube program. In the collaborative project with University of Maryland (led by Yiqun Xie), we will build ICESpark, on top of @ApacheSedona, an open-source big data platform for discoveries in the Arctic.
Sedona now allows users to interact with SpatialRDDs and Spatial Dataframes using the R language. One can now extract ML features from geospatial data in Sedona and build a ML pipeline using ml_* family of functions in sparklyr to work with such features https://t.co/f9w3U0AzQM
What Spatial SQL function should Sedona have in the next release? Please comment below👇 We will implement it! 😛See Spatial SQL functions in PostGIS: https://t.co/8Z5KYgDW4o #ApacheSedona#GIS#BigData
@jaceklaskowski Chapter 12 of Fluent Python maybe usefull :) also link from official docs https://t.co/SPVmfs1AEL. You can also call dunder method __mro__ on your class to see it directly within the code.
