1. The eagerness of some European capitals to rush toward peace with Russia is strange.
Peace is not made in haste. It is made from strength.
Harden the sanctions. Secure Ukraine. Rebuild our own defense.
Only then do we sit at the table. On our terms.
@TLitkei@VolodyaTretyak This. Poland had a lot of growth potential because they had been occupied by the soviets for 50 years. But it is still impressive. Joining the EU helped a lot too. Just compare Poland and Georgia for instance.
@armanalizad Armaninkin kehotus on sanavapauden suojelema kommentti.
Eskalaatiovaara vastaiskuineen on ilmeinen.
@mattvanswol Based on experience, this will not topple the Iranian regime. Or restrict they nuke-getting abilities, whatever they may be. So what is the point?
@chico_ray It would take a lot more courage to do something about Russia. But I suppose the US only confronts weaker enemies these days. Only Ukraine and Europe are on that case... and besides, the Ukraine war is legitimate defense under international law.
@LindseyGrahamSC US is not confronting evil in Ukraine. It is accommodating and even abetting it... maybe do something about Ukraine and then we could talk about Iran.
@ContessaRose202@RST2369@51marine1@elonmusk Pressure Putin. 1) Predictable, long-term military aid to deny Russia any hope of battlefield victory, 2) "Bone-breaking sanctions", 3) Pressure Southern Europe for more, 4) Weapons free , 5) Orban/traitors reined-in, 6) long-range strikes to Russian oil industry (Anduril etc)
@ContessaRose202@RST2369@51marine1@elonmusk Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire/ peace along the line of contact. Russia has not. Rest is just meaningless drivel. US has contributed nothing to peace. Ukrainians bleed and are terrorized. Europe pays for everything and US/Trump are just cowards and losers.
@Sean_in_Kyiv@maria_drutska Europe is still buying plenty of arms from the US for Ukraine. But we are just shifting the long-term procurements to the EU. Actually, the longer the Ukraine war goes on, the more US weapons will be bought.
