@TLitkei @VolodyaTretyak This. Poland had a lot of growth potential because they had been occupied by the soviets for 50 years. But it is still impressive. Joining the EU helped a lot too. Just compare Poland and Georgia for instance.

Iranin omaa kansaansa sortavaa islamistista hallintoa ei voi pitää legitiiminä hallituksena. Sen kaatuminen olisi hyvä asia Iranille ja laajemmin lähi-idälle.

Samalla on kuitenkin vaikea nähdä mihin Israelin ja USAn iskut johtavat. Eskalaatiovaara vastaiskuineen on ilmeinen.

@chico_ray It would take a lot more courage to do something about Russia. But I suppose the US only confronts weaker enemies these days. Only Ukraine and Europe are on that case... and besides, the Ukraine war is legitimate defense under international law.

US has contributed nothing to peace. Ukrainians bleed and are terrorized. Europe pays for everything and US/Trump are just cowards and losers.

@Sean_in_Kyiv @maria_drutska Europe is still buying plenty of arms from the US for Ukraine. But we are just shifting the long-term procurements to the EU. Actually, the longer the Ukraine war goes on, the more US weapons will be bought.
