Difference is that after everything with Ribbit, Jax takes Ragatha to be even less sincere in her attempts of kindness so he views her even worse

Seeing this scene again made me realize Jax's dislike of Ragatha's kindness can be attributed directly to Ribbit, since their friendship fell apart when Jax's paranoia got to him and he let himself think her kindness was for her to backstab him later
