I love storms and when the power goes out before sunrise you can catch me desperately scrambling for a lighter because I finally have an excuse to light ALL of my candles and that is my only mission.
Learned an important lesson about saving frequently when I lost two hours worth of data analysis this morning. Pulling up the nearly empty spreadsheet almost made me cry so I just called it a day and tbh it's been like 7 hours and I'm still not over it.
I was worried about letting my advisor down all semester but he sent me a really nice email congratulating me on making it through "the most academically challenging semester that [I] will encounter" in my degree program and I almost cried.
After the organic test on Wednesday, we all felt pretty bad about our scores but we all did significantly better than we expected so this week may have started horribly, but it ended on a high note.
I studied for days trying to prepare for this exam and I can tell you right now without knowing my score that my hard work will not be reflected by my grade.
I had my first pchem test today and I am shook that 8 problems took me three and a half hours to complete. This class makes me feel dumb because I make the stupidest mistakes but I think I at least passed so that's a plus.
Today I went to talk to my professor and he asked how I was doing because my face is so hard to read. He goes, "I can never tell if you're confused, or angry, or crying."
Lmao thx I get that a lot.
There are two kinds of students:
Me, who forgot to bring a calculator to the first physics test of the semester.
Literally everyone else at my table, who all had at least one spare calculator.
(Shout out to my bud Leo for loaning me his spare)
I swear college has made me so stupid because I was working on physics homework and the answer I was supposed to get was like 115 but I got like 1.8×10^14 so that's how I'm doing rn.
The school needs puppies all semester, not just for finals because my eye is already twitching because of stress and being overworked and we're not even through week three.
Shout out to my PChem prof who gave me a high five after answering a question correctly. This is a super intimidating class and I already feel out of place because I'm the youngest so bless him for helping ease my anxiety about this class.
