The entire TransCanada Canadian Pacific Railway was built across 4,700 km in 4 years, between 1881-85...that’s 1,175km of rail per year, or 3.2km built per day.
The Ottawa LRT was built across 12.5km in 6yrs, or 2km/yr, 0.005km=5m/day.
Congrats to the entire #wilu2019 planning team for putting on such an amazing conference. The program was very engaging and true to its team. I'm looking forward to #wilu2020 in Halifax.
