shift+drag to draw doesn't work for me, nor does shift+click. it just passes through to the default behavior where shift+drag and shift+click mean "highlight this text"

When I got to the "Plan Together" section, I wondered, what if a workday was 3 people sitting together in a meeting room just prompting together for 8 hours?

Take turns doing the dictating, encourage immediate interruption if either teammate hears something they want to do conflict about, and otherwise just generally spending time talking about the big picture or aligning on how to do things.
