I'm going to say this loud for those of you in the back: THERE IS NO PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT. THE OPPOSITE OF PRO-CHOICE IS ANTI-CHOICE. NO ONE IS ANTI-LIFE. THE SIDES ARE PRO-CHOICE and ANTI-CHOICE. That's it.

An IDF soldier named Eli sat down at Northwestern today with a sign that read:
“I’m going to fight in Gaza next month. Convince me why I shouldn’t go.”
What happened next was remarkable.
People came ready with opinions. Many left with a different perspective.
Not because they were shouted at. Not because they were pressured.
Because they had the chance to sit down with a real person, ask tough questions, hear his story, and have an honest conversation.
The response was so powerful that the media came out to cover it.
Turns out most people are more interested in dialogue than division when they’re given the opportunity.
We’re here until 5 PM at The Arch, and we can’t wait to share the conversations from today.

What’s happening in New York, across the country, and around the world is a warning.

If your country has freedom of religion, but members of one religion need to pay millions on security just to safely gather, then your country does not have freedom of religion.
Jewish students were harassed and chased out of Olive and Oak Cafe in Chicago this week.
The response? Jews and Christians helping each other to return to the coffee shop and take a stand against hate.
It takes true bravery to stand with others during their difficult times.
@BrianKarem@bushraamiwala The interview misses the part about her saying she hasn’t seen any credible sources say there are tunnels underneath Gaza. So you can defend her all you want, but she is running for a US government position, and denies knowledge about basic facts.
We started as neighbors with day jobs and kids, carving out late nights and weekends to build something our community had been missing. What began around kitchen tables has become a living movement with new initiatives, campaigns, and families relying on us. It is proof that ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they refuse to sit still.
Now we need to make this strength last. Membership is not charity. It is partnership. For just 18 dollars a month, you join the work of shaping the future of Jewish life in Chicago. You make it possible for us to grow faster, reach farther, and protect more of our community.

Every gift is fuel. Every member is family. Together we are proving that Jewish Chicago is strong, fearless, and here to stay.
Like us or hate us, we are here to stay. We will stand up for the Jewish people no matter the cost, no matter the noise, no matter who tells us to sit down and be quiet. You may think we are too much. You may think we stir the pot. But we know this much is true: the status quo is not good enough when Jewish students are afraid to walk into class, when Zionism is treated like a slur, when Jewish children are taunted on their way into summer camp. Silence in the face of that reality is not caution. It is surrender.
We are not here to surrender. We are here to insist. To insist that Jewish pride is not negotiable. To insist that Zionism is not shameful but a liberation story that changed the course of history. To insist that our children walk tall in their schools, on their campuses, in their neighborhoods. To insist that intimidation has no place in America.
There are only 15 million Jews in the world. Fifteen million in a world of eight billion. Every Jew is a world, every Jewish child is a miracle, every synagogue, every school, every community center a treasure. To be Jewish is not a burden but one of the greatest privileges on earth — a chain of memory and meaning that has survived empires, tyrants, inquisitions, and camps. The least we can do is be proud of it. The least we can do is guard it with all we have.
So yes, we make waves. Because waves are what you make when you refuse to accept drowning. We are loud because silence is the oldest accomplice of antisemitism. We are proud because shame has no place in Jewish life. And if you find yourself one day in need — if the world suddenly feels darker, harsher, less safe — you will find us in the trenches, exactly where we said we would be.
The Chicago Jewish Alliance exists for this reason alone: to stand guard, to speak truth, to protect and to build. We are not satisfied with the status quo. We are here to change it.
Join us. Support us. Be part of this fight. Because the Jewish future depends on Jews who refuse to be quiet.
