16 years ago today, Kid Cudi released his debut studio album ‘Man On the Moon: The End of Day.’ The LP became the first 2000s rap album with two RIAA-certified diamond singles—“Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare)” and “Day ‘n’ Nite (Nightmare).”
Last year, Cudi shared a tweet expressing his gratitude for the achievement: “One word helps this all make sense to me: Chosen. This was my destiny. I was meant to be here and make change, and we still here doing just that.”
