@Techjunkie_Aman I think immutable Linux has too much duplication of libraries just to keep the main OS locked up. I find it hard to live with just Flatpak for apps. Distrobox ends up adding lot of overhead, often for just one app.

@Preeti_ly Windows comes pre-installed from hardware companies like HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc. Given a choice to install, Linux is easiest and quickest to get up and running.
I don't think GUI is an issue. I have not installed anything from the terminal for a few years now.

@Itsfoss It's partly Google/Android SDK's fault. I tried writing an app, just for myself, and the permissions bit is a labyrinth of obscure names and classes. Most developers will default to all rather than go looking for this exact 3 out of at least a million!
