@TwitterEng You need to remove 'twit' from your vocabulary and marketing. It is offensive to those that are suffering from intellectual disabilities. Why not substitute it with something that more accurately reflects the service that you offer and is not a derogatory term? Eg 'chat'.
@DavidLammy Plenty of peer reviewed studies on each element of the above, you just need to tie together the conclusions. In a nutshell, it suggests vitamin D supplements could make a major difference to outcomes.
@DavidLammy Vitamin D is known to play a major role in the health of the immune system. Darker skin tones = lower uptake from the sun in northern climates = suboptimal immune system = more likely to suffer worse outcomes when infected with a virus, especially one that goes for the lungs.
@Number10press Guys, you really need to update in relation to this: https://t.co/X7OYtwonQv I'm seeing rapidly increasing mentions of people ignoring guidelines because of this statement.
@uksciencechief@10DowningStreet 'do all we can'. So why aren't 'we'. South Korea would be a good example of how to do it. Rather than the complete opposite. The constant contradictions in statements being made really do make you and your fellows look rather stupid.
@Unicatkitty @10DowningStreet@BorisJohnson Yup. It also means they have no idea when they have achieved this daft concept of 'herd immunity' as they have no idea how many people have caught it. The UK case mortality rate could be anything from 0.01% to 50% (dead Vs recovered)
@SomethingVintag @10DowningStreet@BorisJohnson They will keep moving the numbers. The way they keep contradicting both themselves and previous statements makes me think 'the room full of experts and scientists' consists of Bojo, the cat and one of those nodding dog toys.
@ItsToby5 @DHSCgovuk@CMO_England @PHE_uk @NHSEngland 'underlying health conditions' can start with things like high blood pressure etc, not necessarily serious. It's worth watching what is happening in Italy at the moment given that UK government seems determined to copy the approach rather than learn from it.
Hi @hullhour. Do you know any map fans? I recently created this street map design and cut it from card for one of the cities proud residents. I think it makes for an interesting design! #hullhour#hullart
@ApprovedInsp It depends on framing and style but starts at Β£150. The most popular choice is for unframed, multilayered designs which are Β£185. More info available at https://t.co/waFTzsV4KU
@Markhewitson Thank you! Was a bit of a surprise, I didn't really know what I was doing -very green when it comes to twitter. I *think* it makes a bit more sense now I have discovered tweetdeck.
