One thing I hate about AR from a YouTuber standpoint is that I probably have to keep my room unrealistically clean and organized for the footage to look good
I’m so screwed
Just heard someone say that museums are great for first dates because you get to ask what they think of an artwork, and that tells you more about them than “what are your hobbies, etc.” People reveal the most about themselves through reactions, not introspective descriptions.
Here's your regular reminder that the VR industry is a small place and people talk.
If you're conducting predatory business tactics and / or an awful person, we'll all know within a month.
There's enough money for everyone
and be nice. It's not hard.
For those who worry about the lack of controllers on Apple Vision Pro: You don't need controllers for artificial movement in VR. Here is the hand tracking alternative we built for Wooorld called 'Glider'. Pull it toward wherever you want to go. Pull it further to go faster.
Movement is even more complicated in Wooorld compared to other VR apps & games as we have two modes of movement: 'Map Navigation' (first half of the video) and 'Locomotion' (second half of the video). And in many ways Glider feels better and more natural than controller thumbstick as it utilizes all three axes.
*We still have lots of improvements planned for Glider.
On Vision Pro only Apple's software can directly capture the real world - third party developers don't get access to the cameras.

The only downside to VR is the goofy hair and lines on your face. When I finish a recording I look like I just went snorkeling after a lawnmower passed through the middle of my hair.
