Just stumbled across this gif of me giving my ADHD the run down on how to successfully make it through a social interaction with a group of neurotypical people.
I’m not suggesting that all the stars suddenly align after ADHD diagnosis but increased self-awareness and understanding is an excellent starting point.
ADHD might be easier for neurotypicals to understand if you know that adhd means that our baseline dopamine is lower than a neurotypical's.
A thread on understanding ADHD a little bit more.
