- surround yourself w/ positive and/or unproblematic ppl on here
- mute or unfollow accounts that aren’t good for you
- boost good tweets
overall, take care of yourself and set healthy social media boundaries! it’s still your call to delete or stay, but I hope this helps
@peacedear303 I haven’t been super caught up w/ what’s happening in dimash twt but I know how exhausting & toxic this platform can be. my advice as a long-time twt user:
- take breaks when you need to. prioritize your health
- don’t engage with idiots, just report & block

as both a dimash & bts stan, I can practically spot a shallow reaction by its thumbnail (on youtube) alone (+ I check the comments w/o watching to confirm). there are unfortunately so many. but the good ones helped me learn about my own voice in addition to the featured singer’s.
There's this weird genre of TikTok video, "voice teacher reacts," where an ostensibly trained vocalist talks over a performance by a clearly fantastic singer.
They'll be like "ooo, hear how Mariah just nailed that high note?" like.... duh she did, it's Mariah Carey?

of vocal coaches that take advantage of unwitting novices, basically scamming them, all because they have some clout from youtube/tiktok. there could also be something to be said abt accessibility to basic music education and the gap between loving music and learning about it but
y’all I think the dimash digital show SOS performance just snatched the top spot of my SOS rankings, holy shit
