More aftershocks from the 7.8 Earthquake that happened less than 100 KM South of GenSan, General Santos City in the Philippines.

Lots of Damage and casualty reports are still coming in.

Tsunami Alert still in Effect.

The 7.4 earthquake off the coast of Mindanao , Philippines caused some damage to the eastern and southeast parts of Mindanao.

Many aftershocks between 4-6 continue, Tsunami warnings are still in effect for the area.

The green line below is the Philippine Trench

Death toll is now counted at 71 from the 6.9 Earthquake 10/1/25.

Many after Aftershocks continue some as far south/southwest as 50+ km away. Some aftershocks recorded on the other side of the Island.

Aftershocks continue after the 6.9 shallow Earthquake in Cebu, Philippines, light damage in Cebu City but in the north, heavy damage to infrastructure and structures.

No fatalities reported yet.

Earth's rotation speed is increasing. Some days will be around 1.5 milliseconds shorter.

The moons' changing gravitational pull is causing all this, not climate change.

Could cause higher sea levels around the equator in the future. More data is needed.

After the massive 8.8 Earthquake 7-30 11:24am, dozens of aftershocks over 5+ continue to hit the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Aftershocks happen when stress within the Earth's crust is redistributed following the 8.8 earthquake, occurring in a subduction zone in the Pacific Ring of Fire

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake followed by a 6.7 aftershock hit central Myanmar on March 28, 2025 11:50am local time, near Sagaing Fault, w/ a shallow depth of 6 miles. Mandalay, 2nd largest city, reporting widespread damage & over 144 deaths. Tremors reached Bangkok, 650 miles away.

This mornings 7.6 Earthquake roughly 100km SouthEast of Butuan City , southern pacific side of the Philippines, continues to Produce after shocks, around 40 at 5.0+ intensity. Expect more aftershocks in this area. No fatalities and no major Tsunami activity reported.

Two faults of the East Anatolian Fault (EAF) system ruptured today. First, a Mw7.8 #earthquake on EAF main strand probably breaking several segments. Second a Mw7.5 to 7.7 on Sürgü-Çartak Fault (EAF N strand). Both ruptured are outlined by aftershocks, and both are left-lateral.

Dozens of Aftershocks continue in Southern Turkey, many thousands confirmed dead and injured. More 5-6.0 aftershocks will come, short term evacuation of the area is imperative for those who are able.

A Magnitude 6.5 #Earthquake occurred at 4:03am around the small town of Tonopah, Nevada, USA. Not far from the California Border and Mammoth Lakes, a known Seismically active area. No injuries reported.

A 6.1 #earthquake was recorded in the waters south of General Santos City, Philippines. 11:38pm Local time. Not too shallow but close enough to the surface at a 50km depth.

City of Zagreb in Croatia continues to recover from the #Earthquake that happened after 6am local on March 22nd. Dozens hurt and one confirmed fatality. This quake was quite shallow at only about 10 km from the surface. All this while the City is under #Coranovirus Quaratine.

5.7 #Earthquake SW of Salt Lake City Airport followed by a 4.4 Aftershock, lots of 3+ Shaking. Some people w/ no power. Do not know enough about the Geology of the Salt Lakes Area as what would trigger this shallow ⬇️ 7 mile below ground quake. Stay Tuned.
