Last month, we partnered with @PlanetinFocus to bring a 3-week environmental film festival to Beijing! Together with 🇦🇺🇩🇰🇫🇮🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇯🇵🇳🇱🇸🇪🇨🇭🇺🇸 the festival engaged over 700 members of the public on #ClimateChange, Indigenous led conservation, biodiversity, food waste & more.

"Voices of the Vulnerable: A Call for Climate Justice”
In the shadow of #COP28, where leaders converge,
A cry for justice rides the climatic surge.
This is the stage, set for a pivotal fight,
To quell the warming, and make the future bright.

Hear the whispers of wind, the ocean's mournful call,
As we stand at the brink, where the vulnerable fall.
Their cries echo deep in the storm's ruthless song,
Famine, illness, despair—this has gone on too long.

From the ashes of homes, to lands forever lost,
We count the grave cost, oh, what a terrible cost!
Yet, in these embers, a fierce resolve is born,
To rise from despair, no longer forlorn.

COP28, a beacon in the night,
Holding the power to set things right.
Phase out the old, the fossil's destructive flame,
Embrace the new, let renewables claim fame.

In the halls of debate, let voices be heard,
Of those who've suffered, without saying a word.
Their stories are maps, guiding us to the just,
In their truth lies the path, in their hands, we must trust.

Secure the finance, for loss and damage done,
For justice is owed to each and every one.
No more empty words, no more hollow pledges,
It's time to act, to teeter on the edges.

Limit the warming, a goal within our grasp,
Unite in the mission, with each breath and gasp.
From surviving to thriving, let this be our creed,
For in climate justice, we find the seed.

So hear this call, O leaders of the earth,
Embrace this moment, give transformation birth.
For in our unity, a new world can arise,
Beneath a brighter, more hopeful, blue sky.
