Obsidian CF v2 is officially here.

We rebuilt it from the ground up to be a tougher version of our Nylon 6 composite, v2 is reinforced with premium carbon fiber and built to match the performance of Markforged Onyx at a better value. It’s been rigorously tested in-house, proven by real-world users, and performs reliably on Markforged and open-source systems. It’s also fully compatible with the Bambu AMS.

Obsidian™ CF v2 is coming late July. It’s a complete overhaul of our original carbon fiber nylon composite, built from customer feedback and lab-tested for performance. With improved mechanical properties, enhanced consistency, and seamless compatibility with both Markforged and open-source systems, v2 is more than an update. It’s a serious upgrade.
