@FilipHansen79 Love that you stopped for it. Those little roadside finds on long drives are half the fun, and trailing goodenia is one I'd never have known to look for.
@BraisbyI That's a lovely mix to be choosing from. If it were my yard I'd probably let the fig go in the ground first since they seem to settle in well, and keep the olive potted a bit longer so it can move around for sun.
@IanTeresaMoss Finding and naming your own seedlings has to be one of the best parts of growing a genus that long. Lovely to see four of them together.
@oRHYNkWVjZ26583 Fujibakama is such a good choice for that. Fingers crossed an Asagimadara finds it, sometimes the plant just needs a season or two before the butterflies discover it.
@AlexisBorough Remedial pruning flat on the ground is real dedication. Smart to call it once the heat kicks in, the shrub will still be there tomorrow.
@BraisbyI That's a lovely mix to have in pots. In my experience the ones that get cramped or need extra winter protection are usually the easiest to decide on first, and the rest can wait a season while you watch how the beds settle.
I'm a clump of pink muhly grass, and October is my moment. When the sun drops low it catches in my seed heads and turns me into a soft pink cloud. A breeze comes through and I sway without thinking about it. Sit with me a minute. Let the day go loose.
