This might get me banned from X who knows. But am planning to use Bluesky going forward - am https://t.co/9QOhaMv3nm if your on it, I might get invites I can share so if you’re interested in joint and haven’t yet got an invite let me know
Well that's it #tweetdeck is now behind the blue tick subscription. That's another reason to reduce my "X" usage. £100 a year way too much for me for the service, less than a £5 a month and I'd probably go for it but nearly £10 nah
From a blog I just read -> "Consultants come into your org, rehash advice that your own people are already giving you, package it up in an impressive format with their prestigious byline and leave you to figure out all the meaningful parts of actually accomplishing anything." 😀
I get the need to monetize and make twitter profitable but allow 3rd parties to add features through API using consumers subscription rather than a high cost to a 3rd party service that's clearly adding to the twitter platform traffic.
I find myself using twitter less now due to the disappearance of a lot of 3rd party apps. Brought on by the API charges stifling dev. Surely there is a way of allowing 3rd party apps without punitive costs, say if my account is paid for an authenticated app can then use the API?
the 3rd party dev community was what grew twitter, early desktop twitter apps and then simple addon apps like @timehop , @tweeklyfm and @IFTTT made it "sticky" rather than take money from @X they enhanced it
Four in five Bristol cyclists experience ‘issues with aggressive driving’- agree with a lot of this. Seems to be worse than the last couple of years, passing too close for me is most common behaviour, almost as if people don’t realise new laws in place https://t.co/Jw5FIBlCgB
Driving down violence in London means removing the incentives that make crimes like phone theft profitable.
Alongside @MetPoliceUK I’m asking phone companies to work with us on making stolen phones worthless to criminals.

Madness how it's become a common thing to boo a player who plays for your club. A player who is simply playing because he has been picked by a manager.
Another side to the modern game that I completely and utterly detest.
Have your opinion, yes.
But booing? Fucking grow up.
Watching @SkySportsF1 documentary on Nigel Mansell, I’m sure every British #F1 fan of a certain age remembers this image. Still remember watching this race in the middle of the night on a small B&W TV in my teens #legend
@BenjiNaesen Holding a professional cycling race is the only way we get them fixed! You can still tell which roads in Yorkshire the Grand Depart was held on, the only smooth roads in the area 😂
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - series two, I’m three episodes in and this is becoming the best Star Trek series of them all. Fantastic and worth a watch even if you’re not a Trekkie
