Reg. 9(1)(d) of EPCOCR provide that subject to Reg. 5,every internet cafe or business center shall have the obligation to install surveillance camera to record and archive activities inside the cafe. Regulation 9(2) the recorded images shall be kept for 12 months.

S. 50(2) of the Media service Act creates an offence to any person who is not accredited journalist or by means of operating media outlet without licence or disseminates false information without justification. Fine is not less than 5M or imprisonment not less than 3yrs.
