The pitching under his tenure has consistently improved. Starting staff, AAA depth, org depth, etc. But the position decisions starting with Campbell breaking camp, alienating Raffy, not realizing Boras/Bregman only had a one year deal, then scrambling to fill 3rd … it’s a Mess

Everyone wants Breslow fired, and I get it. This year’s roster after last year, fireable offense.

But unless you’ve backchanneled a high-level replacement (ie Mayo ➡️ Vrabel), you’re risking having to start the entire thing over with a C- executive. Would rather give Bres a shot to fix it than do that.

Not much has changed since three years ago when nobody wanted this job. If you’re gonna move on, you better know who’s taking over.
