@JustMikepero2 X itself is actually extraordinarily interesting. Joe made it where if X wasn’t involved with Sonic at all, X is still extraordinarily interesting on its own! The problem is that they took off X’s charm with it and more-so also took away his alienated fascination with humanity.

X's entire ordeal in media is being something beyond our comprehension where it is up to the viewer to intepret it. Even Joe when answering bsky questions for X sometimes states he THINK. it's beyond him too

@DovinLefts THANK YOU, FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT! I really dislike how a lot of the fandom heavily associated X as Sonic.exe and not lead into X's canon philosophy. Even in Sinister Minds fan animations it leads to " look at me singing while killing Alan" than actually portraying this in them.

@chaodaycare Likely because X is a being created on complete accident like Caine, as well as the I am God screen being more heavily associated with X than Rewrite. X also emphasizes more on games as of what we've seen similar to Caine. We do not know much of Rewrites world unfortunately.

@PatheticBump I never understood the modern Sonic character design hate when years ago a huge majority of characters especially relatives in Archie were literally just pre existing characters recovered with slight differences and no one bats an eye. But of course, anything Modern = bad
