@EmergingRoy Perhaps… but any words of solidarity is still solidarity. It must’ve been hard for him to make this statement knowing he’ll be bashed up from both sides. Yes personally not a fan but still his statement at face value holds some weight.
@RockbottomRo Like every liberal country has gone thru this in their history to reach where they are. Civil wars, autocratic governments, crackdowns on civil liberties etc. we are a young republic and I’d say this is par for the course.
@annamalai_k Good on you sir! Whatever it is, you’ve at least got a clean conscience. It was important that you speak up and reminded that dissent is normal in a democracy.
@sanjayuvacha When media dog whistles religious bigotry 24/7 and that leads to people actually losing lives, it stops being called journalism. Their actions have real world consequences outside of the newsroom. I don’t think they realise that.
@narayananh Kodiak is limited by no of units on sale. Their inventory is usually sold out. Carnival is super overpriced for the package. It’s half the price of vellfire & none of the snob value / road presence.
@bhatnaturally Forcibly removing protesters, cutting internet, using teargas & lathicharge, using their mouthpieces in media to spread false info… frankly, they ARE already doing the racism that you’re asking of them. So congrats?
@shilpamurthy81@AdityaRajKaul They’re asking for only 2 things- Minister resignation & compensation for the affected families. It’s not unreasonable. 🇮🇳 is a mature democracy- let’s not be so thin skinned. Why can’t the govt also be empathetic instead of cutting internet. JP Nadda meeting is positive though.
