A woman was holding a funeral for her husband when a strange man walked in and sat in the row directly behind her.
Near the end of the service, he leaned forward, tapped her on the shoulder and asked the widow,
“Would you mind if I stood up and said a word?”
She replied,
“By all means.”
The man stood up, cleared his throat, and said,
“Plethora.”
Then he sat back down.
The widow smiled through her tears turned to him and said,
“Thank you. That means a lot.”
A moment later, the same man leaned forward again and asked,
“Would you mind if I added another word?”
“Of course,” she said.
He stood up and said,
“Bargain.”
He sat back down.
The widow dabbed her eyes turned again and said,
“That meant a great deal.”
Just then, another man stood and asked,
“May I say two words?”
The widow nodded.
He nervously walked to the microphone and said,
“Water pit.”
When he sat down the the widow went over to him and smiled kindly and whispered,
“Thanks… I know you meant well.” 😅🤣
