We had a great week at the 26th Lakeland Symposium in Grasmere!
We’ve heard some phenomenal science, seen some beautiful scenery, and learnt that Andy has a very different idea of a gentle walk to the rest of us! 🧪🏞️

Had a great time in the Lake District at @RSC_HSG Grasmere. It was lovely to chat chemistry with so many people, and to have the opportunity to present my own work too! 😁
Haven't posted for a while but wanted to celebrate group publication success... First up congrats to Ffion and Yihong for their phosphonate-b-lactone work @ChemicalScience@StAndrewsChem https://t.co/NAWRLYqjzC
An incredibly elegant combination of nmr methodology, data processing and reaction monitoring, packaged in a way that a synthetic chemist could set it up and use immediately!
Congrats @aannabelflook 🥳

Hi all,
I'm pleased to share my recent work in this poster "Isothiourea-Catalysed Enantioselective Formal [2+2] Cycloadditions of α-ketophosphonates" 🧪
Please feel free to ask questions or start a conversation below!

As far as I'm concerned, the Church of England can take whatever position it wants on gay marriage. That's their religious freedom - people will judge them for bigotry. But then they should not have the power to impose beliefs on others - no bishops in Lords, no CofE schools etc.
I couldn’t possibly love this @NewyddionS4C video more.
These little Ukrainian evacuees now attend a Welsh-medium primary school, and their Cymraeg is utterly delightful
😭❤️🏴
Impactful words by @CarolynBertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!
