📢 On a related note, Plausible is going on indefinite hiatus. Not disappearing completely; our repos will remain open and (sometimes) active on GitHub.
We've had a good run, hopefully proof that worker-owned software co-ops can be a (successful) thing. Now on to new things!
Belated personal news: exactly one month ago, I joined the @climateinteract team, working on the software behind their climate change solutions simulators (En-ROADS and friends).
Excited to be working with this small group of very smart and passionate folks!
@jjacobs22 Thanks! I’d say that as generalists, our skills are relevant (though, sure, not always obviously so) for a number of problem areas in the climate space. And when they’re not, we’re ready to learn. Same goes, I hope, for others joining the fight.
Or, are you a software engineer wanting to work on *something* related to climate change, but are feeling overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the problem space? You're not alone; let's talk. (DMs are open.)
New decade, new mission 🌎🌍🌏
As of February 2020, we're accepting new consulting engagements _only_ with companies whose primary mission is in fighting climate change.
We're ready to help the broader climate effort by bringing our experience to where it's most needed.
If you're building a company that works in the climate space (decarbonization, clean energy innovation, sustainable agriculture, etc) and you need able minds to grow your engineering team, we can help. DMs are open, or email us ([email protected]).
We all want to help address the climate crisis. But it’s such a complex issue that it can be hard to distinguish between data-backed improvements and feel-good distractions. So here's your data-backed guide: https://t.co/HLzzBm0f0K
Just realized that today marks 10 years for me @plausiblelabs!
I’ve been steadily working on getting the co-op ready for the next 10.

PLRelational + Combine + SwiftUI = ♥️
I made a new PLRelationalCombine framework that includes many value and array-oriented publishers, a TwoWay property wrapper, and more. Also added a playground and rebuilt the todo app in SwiftUI. Details in the PR! https://t.co/V04WOzdRI0
We’re happy to announce that Microsoft is moving PLCrashReporter to the Microsoft organization on GitHub to continue supporting this valuable project. Learn more: https://t.co/W7N6ow3vs5
Good news: the App Center folks at Microsoft will be taking over the care and maintenance of PLCrashReporter!

Friday Q&A Live episode 3 is out. Listen now! Or sometime later! That's the whole idea of podcasts!
