I'm considering coming back to making tutorials again. I know I've said it before... I usually start them up again and burn out right away, but I was watching some of my old content earlier today and I could hear my enthusiasm in my voice for it.

@TomDoesArt8 That's what I was leaning towards, and then a check if the player isn't moving to set walkable angle very low to initiate a slide, put it back up high once the player starts controlling again.
Hey devs, I'm trying to put together a slope/ramp system for a player character.
If traveling up - go slower
If traveling down - go faster
If standing still - slide down slope
Anyone know a tutorial to get this done?

@NotSoLittleC Sure you can! It's a neat trick, I've done the same for spider swarms in UE4. Granted my spider model is a lot more basic😅 I can send you a link how to learn this kinda thing if you want it ^^
