Aksara is live and playable now on Windows and macOS.
it’s a fantasy survival game where you explore the world, fight enemies, gather resources, upgrade what you have, and try to survive whatever comes your way.
the game also rewards you with ETH as you play, so what you earn doesn’t just stay inside the game.

Aksara 0.9.53 clients are now live on the site.
night scenes are brighter and easier to play in, with reworked moonlight, ambient lighting, fog, exposure, vignette, and saturation.
also added travel guides between maps, waypoint markers, a restyled compass, proper walk animation, faster sprinting, and fixed a bunch of issues with blank screens, villagers, ambient sounds, and map travel.
epoch reset drift is fixed too. both clocks now roll at 06:57.
someone already got paid about an hour ago just from grinding Aksara.
no idea who this is, but if this is you, drop a comment under this post. would be nice to know who got the payout.
@Yondaimehkg_ yes, we’re aware of that. it’s happening because the launch time and the epoch reset time are about 7 hours apart.
we’ll get that fixed too.
rebuilding the mac and windows clients right now.
we also made some changes to the night scene, so it’ll be noticeably brighter than the current build and much easier to see what you’re doing.
will share the updated builds once they’re ready.
sorry for the late update.
ran into a few bugs while building the new client, and somehow that turned into adding a few more things while we were already in the editor.
navigation compass, new maps, walk animation fixes, and a few other changes are going in too.
more info once the build is finished.
weapons in Aksara can come from a few different places.
you can get them from monster drops, find them while exploring, buy them, or sell them through the marketplace.
however you get your gear, it all stays part of the player economy.
just a reminder: grind points are capped at 1,000 a day.
that cap matters. you shouldn’t have to play 24/7 to keep up, and bots shouldn’t be able to outgrind someone who only has a few hours after work.
hit the cap, log off, touch some grass, get a life. the valley will still be there tomorrow.
if your activity starts looking automated, the earning rate will slow down before it ever gets to a ban.
there are 3 ways to grind in Aksara:
doing quests, killing monsters, and gathering/crafting.
for gathering, four things grow in the valley and all four are worth picking up: wood, stone, berries, and Aksara shards.
482 nodes are spread across the valley, and every node gives you grind points when you harvest it.
somebody has to walk the valley.

when you sign up, keep in mind that we cap it at 4 accounts per device.
we added the limit to keep earning fair for everyone.
we also have anti-bot systems running in the game. if we detect an account farming with bots, there’s no mercy. it will be banned.
the Aksara vault and fees from Pons are controlled by smart contracts. we can’t just move or do whatever we want with the funds in the pot.
you can verify it yourself on the contract, or check it directly through our website:

if you’ve downloaded the Aksara client and tried the game, we’d love to see you post about it.
share a screenshot, clip, or just tell people what you think and mention us so we can see it.
every share helps more people find the game.
going through all the suggestions now and taking notes on what needs fixing.
we’ll get as much as we can into the next client build update.
keep the feedback coming, it really helps.
