It is ridiculous that JMU and Tulane are in the College Football Playoffs ... and Notre Dame and Texas and Vanderbilt are not. This shouldn't be about "everybody gets a chance." This should be about THE BEST 12 TEAMS IN AMERICA. Come on.

[The Premier Cut @playerstrain]

@RGIII It begs this question though… If BYU plays in the SEC, do they only lose two games?

[Chief @BarstoolChief]

If you hate ND and want to celebrate today that’s fine. Just know that you have no integrity and don’t care about the sport because anyone who cares about competition & having the best 12 teams in should want Notre Dame in the playoff. If you don’t it’s because you lack character

[Re2pect Sports ☘️ @Re2pectsport]

Everything that Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua should do in this aftermath:

- Boycott the bowl game
- Cancel the ACC scheduling deal
- Re evaluate the 2026 schedule

Notre Dame needs to go scorched earth on the college football world for this injustice

U can say the UK deal and while that’s right……UK likely handles IU and SMU as it’s just different in the SEC. We all beat each other up for the most part. Say what u want but IU and SMU and a few more have NO chance to win a game much less win it all. I think OM, Bama and SC could have made a run at the finals and maybe championship. SEC should demand 16 team playoff, 8 home games for best 8, and 5 or 6 mandatory spots for SEC, NO SEC champ game, Notre dame must join a conference
OR
SEC break away and have our own playoff event as most of the country is watching the SEC anyway. Whoever set up current system really screwed up. The 4 best teams didn’t get the byes and some better teams don’t get an economic benefit of a home game. Just stupid! Also NO ONE with a school affiliation should be on playoff committee. Heck use 12 women with no sports desires and bias and give them the data and let them pic it…..they would do better. We gotta get bias and feelings out of it! 👊🏼
