Grand Theft Arcade is a browser-based, open-world crime MMO set in Sunset City.

You arrive with little more than a name and a way in. Run missions, steal cars, take jobs, build your skills, grow and move product, fight cops, collect rare weapons, buy property, own businesses, form a crew, and take turf across the city.

Play with friends, compete for territory, and earn or trade rare items. Seasons, contests, and leaderboards reward the city’s most active players, while $GTAa holders can earn holder rewards. Exchange eligible in-game currency for $TTWO, or use $GTAa for premium items and cosmetics.

Development Update: Market Refinement

We have been working on refining the different markets in Sunset City, bringing them together in three sections:

NPC Shops
Browse the city dealers’ stock, or find local shops, see what they offer, and set a GPS route to get there.

Game Store
Buy premium items with $GTAa, including weapons, outfits, accessories, and Get Out of Jail cards.

Marketplace
Buy and sell cars and rare items directly with other players using GTAa.

You asked for more frequent claims, we listened.

Sunset City’s Exchange now runs on 12-hour cycles, with two reward rounds every day:

• Rates lock at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.
• You have 12 hours to exchange all or part of your eligible gUSD at that round’s locked rate.
• Anything you do not exchange rolls into the next round, alongside your new eligible earnings.

Your share depends on your eligible gUSD relative to the total across eligible players.

Eligibility checks and anti-farm limits still apply.

Even Sunset City’s biggest criminals have better things to do than stare at cell walls. While we are gradually introducing premium items to the Game Store, let us show you the Get Out of Jail cards.

Buy a pack of 3 with $GTAa before trouble finds you. Get caught, use one card, and walk straight out of the jail like a chad.

Crime pays, but waiting does not!

In the interest of transparency, we have detected malicious activity in Sunset City today. We are implementing a sophisticated, layered anti-cheat system to protect fair players.

Server-side checks compare movement against legitimate gameplay, flag suspicious cash and progression patterns, and preserve evidence for review. Stronger validation of earnings and rewards is rolling out alongside these protections.

Our audit covered 681 accounts. Of those, 25 were banned, and none received $TTWO rewards.

We have zero tolerance for deliberate cheating. Breaking the ToS can result in an immediate permanent ban and exclusion from rewards, regardless of how much GTAa you hold.

We have made some changes in regards to crews. Your turf income now gets +3% for every crewmate active in Sunset City, up to +30%.

We are constantly looking for ways to increase activity in-game with incentives and rewards. This new update will give group chats making a crew, a reason to log on more often.
