The elite offensive talent is found in the Entry Draft. In my opinion, you go defense in the Expansion and offense in the Entry.

The protected rosters let us establish the "core" of each @NLL team (article coming releasing soon on @LaxPlayground).

I looked at the players' ages as of opening weekend (Dec 3) to see which teams have a young nucleus and which have an older core. Any surprises?

Something that stood out to me RE: @NLL protected rosters...

7 team captains (from the 19/20 season) were left unprotected.

This is a result of age (captains are usually veterans) and contract status — but still interesting!

With 2020 @NLL draft picks being eligible to be selected by @PantherCityLax, GMs had to protect rookies. Here is how the '20 draft class showed up on the protected rosters:

• 1st round - 13 (out of 16)
• 2nd round - 4

@realMrGrossman Thank you! I think it has to do with how the Chaos used him. They were determined to have him initiate from below GLE — and when he did carry above the goal-line, it was mostly isolation dodges. (1/2)
