The jelly world just got its own tiny ocean 🌊🍮
Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra - same prompt, two tiny seaside worlds
Opus wins this one for me. I really liked its water physics and animal movement - the shimmering reflections and spreading ripples make the whole scene feel alive. A little coastal escape you could watch for way too long. Though $29.08 is a little pricey for a ticket to the jelly beach
Astra came in cheaper, but I wasn’t a fan of its water physics or overall visual quality. More “aquarium decoration” than “living underwater world.” Cute enough to put on a shelf, but Opus makes you want to touch the water
Estimated API cost:
Opus - $29.08
Astra - $17.86
Which jelly ocean would you dive into? 🪼

Packroad dev log, day 9 of October:
🏰 Rivergate got proper walls: 9 towers down to 4, no more gaps
⛰️ Softer hills round all nine towns, 82 floating objects put back on the ground
🔔 Brass sign when you arrive in a town, brass seal when you finish a job
📖 New skills book
🗺️ Cleaner map, and the minimap moves now
I made it possible to make sloped walls in my relaxing building game 🌳🏡Island architect🏡🌳
Starting to really feel like the building system is coming together, with a good balance of flexibility and it just doing the sensible thing for you.
I deeply apologize for this AI slop. But no one will ever be able to convince me that Jak and Daxter doesn't belong in the modern gaming space. A next gen Jak 4 would go insanely hard.
@SeanDOlfc It just shows how supportive you are to the players. Are you stupid? It’s a contract for them. He’s not a thief. He might not be doing a good job. It’s a promise on both sides. If the club isn't impressed, they'll get rid of him. But you can't call him a thief. That's stupid.
