My HB 1569, the Oklahoma Play to Learn Act, not only passed out of the House Ed Committee just now, I’ve also accepted an amendment by @kylehilbert that puts some teeth back in it. I’m already working on securing a House floor vote...stay tuned for next steps for advocacy! ✊🏼

Our first Lawmaker of the Week of 2021 is @jacobrosecrants! He authored HB 1569, the Oklahoma Play to Learn Act. The bill will be heard by the House Ed Committee on Tuesday. 👏 Before election, Rep. Rosecrants taught seventh grade geography at Roosevelt MS in @OKCPS.
