So happy to announce the publication of my book of short plays Disruptions by @Montagpress. "A collection of fantasy, horror, and sci-fi plays about the little interruptions that change everything." (Plus blurbed by some of my wonderful @unmfa colleagues!) https://t.co/zmnnd1uidd
Happy 76th Birthday George Wendt.
George played Norm Peterson in seven different shows, Cheers (1982), St. Elsewhere (1982), The Tortellis (1987), The Simpsons (1989), Wings (1990), Frasier (1993), and Family Guy (1999).
Here are some of his best Entrance Normisms.
@jimmypardo Hope you've had a fantastic birthday! @NeverNotFunny has been an incredibly positive part of my life for the past 18 years. Thanks to you (and the gang) for all you do!!
@Criterion@criterionchannl Can’t encourage you enough to watch this film. Hawke is the youngest person on film to play Hamlet, and embodies the uncertainty of a Gen X’er in 2000. The supporting cast is perfection, the direction is imaginative, and the Carter Burwell score is a masterpiece. Fantastic film!
@baddestmamajama Great term! I refer to them as “How long have we known each other” scenes. It’s always:
How long have we known each other, Steve?
Five years.
That’s right, five years. And in all that time …
@HaymakerHattie Episode 1, my 9 year old chose the ultimate winners as “his team.” Now he’s talking about going on it with me when he gets older. Fun season!
@cmclymer Have you watched the documentary June 17, 1994? Fascinating, narrator-less compilation/juxtaposition of all of the major sports events going on the day of the Bronco chase. (Made in America, also an amazing documentary)
