We didn't have parties to "boost morale"
We didn't have quiz nights
We didn't have champagne
We watched our colleagues die though
We were STEEPED in death
We kept going
We had to
We kept on
So don't you DARE say your parties were "necessary" @borisjohnson
You make me sick.
Hunt says the that the billion pound pension giveaway to millionaires is “targeted at NHS doctors”.
So, Jeremy, what % of those who have over £1m in a pension fund are NHS doctors?
What a ludicrous lie, on top of all the rest.
@folkonfalcons Worrying times for smaller players in the PRL. Tigers needed an urgent £13 million last week to avoid administration. Where the hell does that leave Falcons?
Rather than police investigate Rishi Sunak for not wearing a seatbelt I would rather they followed all of our Covid money, all the Russian money, all the cash for honours, all the billions spirited out of the country post-Brexit, all the excess profits made by energy & the rest
Who to believe:
A professional body of nurses who have never undertook a national strike
Or
A government with a long track record of lying, cheating, stealing, and generally not giving a fcuk about any one but themselves?
• Firefighters don’t get subsidised food
• Nurses don’t get free parking
• Doctors don’t get free energy
• Teachers don’t free travel
• Tory MPs refusing to talk public sector pay get the lot- free parking; free travel; free energy and subsidised food. And £2,200 pay rises.
• The Secretary of State for Health receives £151,649. His food is subsidised; his travel, energy & parking free.
• A newly qualified nurse is on £20k- £22k pa, pay £1300pa parking, rely on food banks & pay all of their energy costs.
The Sec of State won’t discuss pay.
Nurses are with us when we come into this world and often when we leave it. They punctuate the moments in between with care and compassion - I know who I support when it’s between them and self serving politicians who fill the pockets of themselves and their cronies
I ASK EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS TWEET TO PLEASE RT IT.
Tomorrow nurses strike. They will be put through hell by the media, politicians and the establishment.
Ahead of the action please share this tweet if you back the nurses and find it sickening that they are being vilified.
@SquidgeRugby Sounds like he's completely distracted you, @SquidgeRugby from the issue: his conduct matters. Taking credit for wins and scapegoating officials for defeat comes from the Trump playbook. Yes, he's an effective and influential operator, but winning at all costs hurts the game.
@willgkelleher Yes, margins are tight at the top. But Ire and Fra both shut down SA. They have moved on from 2019. England have not. The regime is stagnant. Without refreshing a number of key personnel, this frustrating inconsistency is all we're going get.
