MIURA 5 is rapidly coming together, with tangible progress across manufacturing, integration, testing and launch infrastructure. All of our team is taking part in the path towards flight readiness:
โข Manufacturing and integration of the two first MIURA 5 qualification units (QM1 & QM2) in record time to validate the complete subsystem before flight unit production.
โข Parallel qualification test campaigns, successfully ongoing across all launch vehicle components, from engines to avionics, from software to GNC algorithms.
โข Ground Support Equipment is being manufactured in Spain and will soon undergo on-site testing, while civil works at our launch complex at CSG (Kourou) moves forward simultaneously.

๐ We have increased our investment in the MIURA 5 Launch Complex at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG) to โฌ35M.
This milestone makes PLD Space the first private operator to invest at this scale at the ELM-Diamant site, contributing to the evolution of Europe's historic spaceport.
At the same time, construction activities at the site continue to progress, with civil works now entering their final phase and completion expected this summer.

Yesterday, we welcomed to our headquarters a group of 14 university rocketry teams that make up SURTAM (@SurtamSpain), Spain's national student rocketry association.
Representing renowned aerospace universities from Madrid, Leรณn, Bilbao, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, and Zaragoza, all teams joined us for a day of learning and inspiration.

Our team has successfully completed the MIURA 5 strongback testing using a fullโscale mockup that accurately replicates our launcherโs inertia and mass distribution. This enables us to validate the hydraulic systems, mechanical interfaces and the loadโresistance capability of the fore clamp, the system that secures the rocket to the strongback.
This approach decouples final vehicle integration from the launch pad, enabling us to:
โ Optimize ground infrastructure.
โ Overlap operations and cut turnaround times.
โ Improve efficiency and support a higher launch cadence.

Throughout this work, our team evaluated propulsive braking strategies, trajectory adjustments, and technological solutions applicable to structures, propulsion, avionics, and fuel management.
These advances strengthen our capabilities in reusable launch systems and open the door to integrating these technologies into future operational versions of MIURA 5.
This milestone coincides with the ESA Future Space Transportation Spring Session in Paris, where we shared the results with institutional representatives, industry, and investors, and stands as a decisive step toward firstโstage recovery, bringing this capability closer to operational reality.
