I remember the first time I posted this video of my kids and I listening to Charlie Kirk talking. I got so much hate. People said I’m brainwashing my kids. Lol. No. I’m teaching them not to be wannabe victims, not to use skin color as an excuse, and to know they can accomplish anything they want to in life through hard work.

My kids will grow up listening and watching Charlie Kirk. His words were and are so powerful. America lost greatness. Smh.

For years, you erased the names of families who built schools because somebody decided the name was “triggering.” Aunt Jemima got evicted from her own syrup bottle. Uncle Ben got fired from the rice company. Statues were dragged down, buildings were renamed, and history was edited like somebody’s embarrassing Facebook post from 2009.

But Trump gets ahold of the label maker and suddenly everybody cares about tradition?
No. You don’t get to invent the Renaming Olympics and then throw a fit because Trump won the gold medal.

I AM A CHILD OF THE 60'S and 70'S.

The black race wasn't morbidly obese.

There was no anti-white racism industry.

There was no “America you owe me something" mob.

We never heard the N-word or F-bombs coming out of our radios.

Our cartoons didn't try to turn us gay.

Movies and TV shows didn't want to depress us about our world or our lives.

Actors didn't tell us who to vote for.

Nobody told us what jokes were allowed.

There were no TRANS kids.

Nobody told you their pronouns.

A man was a man, a woman was a woman, and nobody pretended otherwise.

Nobody lost their job or their home or their family or their friends for merely stating biological facts.

Nobody had food allergies.

I could go to school without getting jumped.

We played outside until the streetlights came on.

We had family dinners with no phones at the table.

Families didn't break up over politics.

We respected cops, teachers, and the flag.

We celebrated CHRISTMAS, not Kwanzaa.

Nobody was "offended" by EVERYTHING.

If anybody WAS offended by something, it was THEIR PERSONAL PROBLEM, not a national crisis.

And here's the good part:

Women hadn't willfully destroyed every aspect of entertainment - from movies to TV to video games.

Call me old-fashioned and outdated, but I really miss those days.

So God, if you're listening, this is my prayer:

Return us to the good old days of American civility, PLEASE.

Not my usual post topic........
But I’m sick of the Boomer hate. Everywhere I look, it’s the same thing. Boomers ruined the economy. Boomers hoarded all the houses. Boomers wrecked the planet. Boomers made it impossible for anyone younger to get ahead. Like my entire generation sat down one day and decided to screw everyone who came after us. I worked. I saved. I paid into the system for decades. Now I want to spend some of what I earned, and suddenly that’s a moral failing. Wanting to live in the house I paid for is “hoarding.” Taking a vacation is “stealing the future.” Existing past 65 is apparently an offense. Housing is expensive. Wages stalled. Costs went up. Fine. That’s real. But acting like every Boomer personally priced you out of a starter home is lazy. Governments printed money. Corporations consolidated. Zoning locked cities down. Colleges sold a $200k degree for a $50k job. Interest rates, regulation, immigration, supply, demand — pick a cause. “Old people exist” is not an analysis. And the entitlement in it is wild. Nobody owes you the same deal your parents or grandparents had. Life doesn’t come with a guaranteed starter home, cheap college, and a pension. Plenty of people in my generation got crushed, too. Plenty of younger people are doing fine. Outcomes aren’t a morality play by birth year. I’m not apologizing for working, saving, and wanting to enjoy the result. If that’s “Boomer hate” fuel, so be it. I’m done pretending I should feel guilty for not being broke.
