Did you know it’s virtually impossible to fire a black person? I’ve had black people literally clock in every day, do zero work, call in constantly, and mess up everything they bother to touch and HR won’t even let you write them up. One guy even had 20+ sexual harassment and stalking complaints and we couldn’t fire him. Also if you interview a “minority” and don’t give them the job, you’re required to write an extensive explanation as to why. Straight white people? You can fire them without even having a good reason. But we are the ones who get preferential treatment 🤣
@Devsthetix wrists were sore for a few months, got some of those handle things which helped get me through that, then gave them away. recently iv been finding its better to chase SLOW painful reps, rather than trying to ugly my way to an arbitrary number. its hard on the ego tho haha.
Joseph Campbell spent five years in a rented shack with no job, reading nine hours a day. no income, no plan, no publication deal. his sister brought him groceries. he later called it "the most fertile period of my life." the hero's journey was written by a man who spent five years doing nothing the world would call productive. I find this fact more useful than most business books combined.
