I like this suggestion a lot! If the feathers were folded by default then they could be extended by bending lifting up the ankle. the feathers would then extend every time the leg was lifted and snap back up into a fold whenever the foot was placed. Curious as to thoughts on this

@DazedAtmosphere Do you have some waxed thread? Or Superglue? It really depends on how/where they fell apart and how they were made.

Since a lot of shoes are glued at the factory, I’d maybe look into a shoe repair video or two and see if you can spot something that could help you out.
