Wow! I'm a finalist for the @chatechcouncil 2023 Tech Educator of the Year! I 💚 my job -> supporting teachers and students in using tech as a tool for learning through #STEM#TechX2023
4th grade went on a field trip to The Chattanoogan Hotel for a Reading Rally! Students and teachers were showered with 5 star service. S’s wrote a book with a local author last year in their Library class and everyone got a copy of that book they helped write today!
5th graders showing out with their extra PE class this week! Rhythm, coordination, counting, and cooperation all on display on this fun challenge! Thank you mrsortosclass on TikTok for the idea! #WoodMoreLeads
@hollowayreader@TechGoesHomeTN@nikkicrussell17 I learned from my teachers who were in your class. They were sharing their ideas, and I hadn’t heard of some of them before. I’m so proud of the three who chose to join this cohort.
Cosmic bowling was back in the @WoodmoreEagles gym this week! We had a blast working on our rolling skills while under laser lights. Equipment and lights came from a #DonorsChoose project last year. #WoodMoreLeads#Joy
Video just in of a messy train crash off Apison Pike, courtesy of viewer Larry Mann. Locomotives, rail cars, all on the ground. We have a team on the scene. Reports at 5, 530 and 6 on @newschannelnine
#12DaysOfCode This actually goes back to our first lesson with Vex123 robots, using the buttons on the robot to get it to go around a square. Love their excitement when it worked. #BootUpPD @equityinCSEd

#12DaysofCode This was a Vex123 challenge to get the robot around the square only using the coder deck. I didn’t have a solution. These girls figured out one. #BootUpPD@equityinCSEd
@WoodmoreEagles Mine was supposed to have lasted me a couple of days due to its amazingly large size. Unfortunately it was so good it only lasted 30 minutes. A definite treat that is greatly, greatly appreciated

these two 3rd graders figured out a solution to a challenge I didn’t think had a solution. I’ll admit my lack of knowledge and proclaim how proud I am of them. Apparently it’s all about using the command “go to start” which acts as a Loop.
