@ElizAthertonSop@LucyGoBag Agree. I experienced this in Dubai in February but never expected to see - i.e. hear - it over here. (We must catch up, Liz…)
@TeleCricket@GeoffreyBoycott Really good to meet you again at the evening and book signing last month, Sir Geoffrey - and warm wishes for a speedy recovery from your latest health challenge; I know you’ll beat it again!
@AnnieChave @DavidEl21800433 Agree on both accounts, Annie; Foakes is still the best gloveman - but Ollie does deserve recognition soon! Sounds as if Jamie Smith is in line for a place…?
Warm congratulations to John Rutter who has done so much for music over many years. I personally found him to be wonderfully supportive when I was working at the Royal School of Church Music where he gave his time, knowledge and experience so generously.
Arise, Sir John!

@GeoffreyBoycott Spot on, Sir Geoffrey. I remember watching Derek bowl to you in a long net session before play in the Ashes at Trent Bridge in 1977 - it was a fascinating contest between two experts!
Just a 50 year gap: Incredible day to be back singing Evensong at King’s, first time since 1974, sitting behind my old stall as one of a group of former choral scholars joining with the current Chapel Choir.
Only 6 altos here - four current & two former - no room for error!
I've just signed "Tell Labour to prioritise Proportional Representation" - Will you support the campaign too? https://t.co/0Cp84Qtjmi @OpenBritainHQ@action_storm
