With commentary on AI, we can’t have just those unreservedly enthusiastic, on the one hand, and those skeptic to the point of rejecting entirely (’doomers’ to the enthusiasts). We need those who fall in between: enthusiastic but skeptic, the reserved adopters.
It's true that AI can't produce art. Typewriters or pianos also can't. But you can provide AI with instructions. That's not true of typewriters or pianos. (Self-playing pianos don't really follow instructions.)
Added a type of content to my website that’s an item that floats to the top when it’s updated. First use, keeping track of the Maigret novels I’ve read. https://t.co/offWtCevfH
With immersion brews – Aeropress, Clever – you can affect the taste in so many ways: grind size, ratio of coffee to water, stirring, time, temperature. With AeroPress there’s also pressure. #Coffee
Launching is not a single moment in time.
It starts when the first outsider tries your app.
Or rather, when someone first learns about it, wants to try it, tries it, and wants to continue using it.
And it continues until that happens all by itself, again and again.

I spent years trying to make categories work.
Groceries. Entertainment. Transport. Eating out. Clothes.
I tried organising them different ways, convinced I just hadn’t found the right approach.
But something always felt off.
Traditional budgets put them both in monthly boxes.
But everyday spending doesn’t work like that. It’s irregular. You can’t plan it a month ahead. Some days nothing, other days everything at once.
Fixed costs set boundaries.
Everyday spending needs pacing, not monthly limits.
