Was ready for Wrestling Twitter to dunk on Hogan, and they have, but all the best ones coming from people he worked with feels like the best possible send off. Andre came back from the grave just to deliver a sick burn and I love it
I’m gonna take a couple minutes to remember all the things I genuinely liked about Hulk Hogan before I make some popcorn and enjoy the funniest day on Wrestling Twitter in a hot minute.
People can critique & analyze Leonardo da Vinci's paintings or Jean Renoir's films but the Boogie Woogie Man's work can't be understood unless you were there that night?
@elliottswrstlin Honestly, a lot of neat possibilities in a world where Hogan is an Andre/Undertaker-style special attraction and largely doesn’t mess around with the rest of the main event scene.
@LeeCasebolt @elliottswrstlin @thgenericgaijin Like, if he had hit a decade earlier, he’d probably have had a nice run as a top heel in Mid-South or something, but in the age of the Big Two, they never really gave him the room outside of a minute in WWECW, and I’m not sure that counts
