@WhittakerHelen @GiveBloodNHS Yes just shows it's not quite as urgent as they are suggesting doesn't it. I got turned away for having iron levels of 134 rather than 135, then banned from donating for 3 months even though my iron levels might have been 135 one day later. It's a bit silly.
@GiveBloodNHS@NHS I tried to donate a couple of months ago and was turned away because my blood iron levels were 134 rather than 135. And I was then banned from donating for 3 months afterwards! Maybe look at how you could relax some of your own rules?
@MFTH61@Dimonator That's why Murray checked first as to whether she would drop out even if she made the 2nd week. She said she wouldn't drop out (she even said so to the press!), then changed her mind. It was poor form.
@MFTH61@Dimonator Erm, because it's his swansong? Why shouldn't he?
Also - no, it's not "the most obvious caveat". She even said a couple of days ago that if she made the second round, she'd still do it. So you've made that caveat up.
@MFTH61@Dimonator Yeah, with his $56m career winnings I am sure he is desperate.
If there had been such a caveat she would have said so now instead of pretending her wrist hurts.
@MFTH61@Dimonator Not every player would do this, because not every player would have signed up for it in the first place. She didn't have to sign up for it.
Putting yourself first, and letting others down, used not to be seen as a virtue, it used to be called selfishness.
