Bravery is not the absence of fear but the actions you take in the face of fear.
Everyone on the ground yesterday, I am proud to call you a friend and my family
Hold the line and stand fast 💙
“DO NOT BE AFRAID"
People will be quick to jump in and say that "Do not be afraid" is not mentioned 365 times in the Bible and that it's just an urban legend.
Does it matter? No, of course it doesn’t. Once is enough.
When we fall into darker and unknown times, you may have to "dig deep" and search for parts of your being which you never knew existed.
So all I can say is this: do not be afraid, do whatever it takes and just come back. 🏴☠️
"It's off the scale today"

This is why we exist: care at point of injury in high risk policing environments.
Thoughts are with our MerPol collleagues, and those on mutual aid, as they deal with unnecessary criminal disorder so soon after such tragedy.

Had the pleasure of meeting @corrmed today to have a look at their new tacmed bags, great improvement on our current design and some snazzy features, look forward to hopefully getting my hands on one to get out in the car with!
On the footy today, medic bag prepped, sun cream applied and 4 minutes back into my old beat dealt with a member of the street co-hort having a free breakfast, subsequently dealt with. I do miss city centre policing at times!
