It’s back to school week for many across our state. A new year full of possibilities for new learning, friendships, and fun. Here is a throwback of my kids when they were in Kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grade here in our Colorado public schools. BTW The tie was not my idea- all his!
FACT: Prop HH does not end TABOR refunds. If HH passes, all Colorado taxpayers will receive more than $800 in their next TABOR refund, a refund of $326-$1,028 in 2024 and $269-$848 in 2025 (depending on the person’s income). I voted #YesOnPropHH#copolitics#coleg
Rhonda is a strong Latina leader who will bring her community-centered voice to the SBOE for the benefit of all CO students. It has been amazing getting to know her on the campaign trail and I can’t wait for us to get to work on the SBOE. Congratulations Rhonda! 2/2
Results are in from CD8 and I am excited to serve with Rhonda Solis! The two new State Board of Education seats will be filled by two public education advocates with experience serving on local boards of education. 1/2
I am truly honored and humbled to be elected by the people of Colorado to be the At-Large State Board of Education member. I am ready to serve and partner with schools to make sure every child no matter their income or zip code has access to the very best schools. #copolitics
@DanMaloit thank you for your kind words, and thank you for keeping this race focused on our shared goal of making our schools a great place for children to learn.
@plomerforco Congrats on your win last night. You earned the support of the people across Colorado and I trust you will do a fine job serving on the Board. #edcolo#copolitics
We are making our final outreach to voters in Colorado to get out the vote! This election could not be more important for our public schools, our democracy, and the direction of our state and country.
CO is second in the nation for voter turnout, let’s make it #1 in 2022! On Saturday, we visited Littleton, Thornton, and Aurora Canvass centers to express our gratitude for their hard work! I also toured a few local Denver Latino-owned small businesses and H-Mart in Aurora!
It is so important for young people to vote in this election! I loved seeing my son Will and his friends at our Fort Collins stop get excited to help get out the vote at CSU. Your vote is your voice and every vote matters!
Thanks to Restoration Christian Fellowship & Heritage Christian Center in #CO06 for inspiring Coloradans to get out & vote on #SoulsToThePolls Sunday with @pweiser, @MichaelBennet & @JenaGriswold.
No matter our beliefs, we’re united in our right to take a stand.
The last days of the campaign are packed! On Friday, we were welcomed by the Cafecito, then headed to Balfour and Heather Gardens retirement communities. To end the day, we stopped in Winter Park and Steamboat Springs. Thank you to everyone helping get out the vote!
I am honored to be endorsed by leaders from all over Colorado. I have learned a lot from them about community pride and the accomplishments of schools and students across our state. People work hard and there is lots to be proud of in Colorado!

ICYMI: @MichaelBennet, @JoeNeguse, @plomerforco, and the First Gentleman stopped by campus to call on students to get out the vote. You can register, vote, or turn in your ballot upstairs in UMC235! The team from @BoCoClerk are standing by to answer questions and GOTV!
