Following its joint statement with Russia about moving away from a reliance on Western countries, the Chinese government announced it sold at least $53.3 billion worth of U.S bonds.

Swiss economic expert Claudio Grass:

"It is a wise decision to diversify away from USD. Gold has outperformed USD Bonds by 75% since 2021.

In addition, the USD has been used for decades already as a political weapon and with the arbitrary confiscation of assets due to pressure from the US government.

Pengen kirim semangat ke teman-teman yang pengen jadi filmmaker professional. I know it's hard dan bisa bikin frustrasi. Tapi jangan nyerah!

Ijin cerita dikit. Dari kecil saya cinta film dan mimpi jadi sutradara. Tapi kenyataan hidup bikin jauuuh kemungkinan bisa dapetin cita-cita saya. Ekonomi maksudnya wkwkwk... Bapak saya cuman narik becak (digowes sih nggak ditarik haha), Ibu kayak Tara Basro (bukan mukanya haha tapi profesinya di pasar). Kuliah film nggak mampu bayar. Akhirnya masuk kuliah yang ada ekskul filmnya, tapi nggak keterima di ekskulnya. Lulus kuliah, ngelamar ke PH-PH film dan sinetron, nggak satupun yang balas lamaran. Saya cari jalan lain, jadi wartawan dan ketemu beberapa orang yang buka pintu masuk industri. Saya mulai dari jadi astrada dua sekaligus script continuity dan clapper di film Biola Tak Berdawai. Sampai akhirnya dapat kesempatan jadi sutradara. Film pertama, kedua, dan seterusnya. Kadang nyampe, kadang gagal. Belajar dan belajar. Saya selalu nonton film. Film yang hebat kasih pelajaran untuk diikuti. Film yang gagal kasih pelajaran buat dihindarin. Ga perlu diketawaiin kayaknya. Saya juga belajar dari kesalahan-kesalahan saya sendiri (walaupun lalu bikin kesalahan baru hahaha). Yang saya pegang, seorang filmmaker harus bercerita di film sesuai suaranya, yang merupakan hasil dari pengalaman dan pemahaman hidup kita dari bayi. Mencoba menyenangkan semua orang adalah kesia-siaan.
I'm not the most creative, certainly not the smartest. But I work hard, think hard, dan gigih nggak mau menyerah. Dan alhamdulillah sekarang saya bisa bekerja dengan idola-idola saya, dalam jajaran kru dan pemain.

🚨BREAKING: RUSSIA ADVISES AGAINST TRAVELING TO LEBANON | NEW WAR?

The Lebanese MEA Airlines also cancelled half of all flights, and moved 60% of their aircrafts to Turkey for 'insurance' reasons.

I've received UNCONFIRMED reports that Israel has communicated with the Lebanese airport, threatening to strike if Hezbollah does not stop the attacks on the Israeli border.

These reports, from airport employees, are still UNCONFIRMED.

This comes after an escalation of clashes on the Israeli Lebanon border, which is ongoing:

TODAY'S CLASHES ON LEBANON BORDER:

- Hezbollah launched an attack on IDF posts along the Israeli Lebanese border using anti-tank guided missiles and gunfire, striking five Israeli sites in Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shuba

- Israeli artillery bombed the vicinity of Kafr Shuba, as well as the farms of Bastra and Shanouh in southern Lebanon.

MOSCOW'S FOREIGN MINISTRY:

'The situation in the Middle East is heating up. We strongly recommend that Russian citizens refrain from traveling to the region, especially to Israel, Lebanon, Jordan and the Palestinian territories'

ANALYSIS:

My concern of Hezbollah joining the war, dragging Lebanon into the conflict, is rising by the day.

If this happens, the risks for a much larger regional conflict with global implications goes up drastically.

In yesterday's space, we had an Iraqi diplomat explain why he believes Iran will join the war through proxies if Israel enters Gaza, arguing that the U.S has been trying to convince Israel to change course.

Unfortunately, that ship has sailed.

The ball is in Iran/Hezbollah's court. Can they accept the end of Hamas, or will they join the war and support their ally?
