@mikegrib8 Do you think this will lead to more aggressive recruitment within European academies? I’m not sure if even Zalgiris and Mega can compete with the elite US prep schools given their current recruitment situations, let alone the Italian teams where talent is spread thinner

A lot of the best players on the Euro teams have commitments to pro teams as well, so idk if they'll play, but my favourites are: Karalic, Bjelica (Mega), Stombergas, Kukta, Sabeckas (Zalgiris), Milicic, Plato, Kiehlneker (Ulm), Santini (Bassano)

Ignas Stombergas is way too good for the Lithuanian 2nd tier. Averaging 18 pts, 12.5 rbs, and 6.5 stls+blks in 26 mpg through the first two games. Hoping he gets loaned out to an LKL club (1st division) to better prepare him for a probable high-major NCAA move next year.

Szewczyk was over a year younger than the other 7 at the time of their respective tournaments. He also had comfortably the second highest 3pr and 2pt% of the group. Really exciting prospect.

@mikegrib8 Unrelated but have you put the more recent FIBA/ANGT stuff into your model for the youth guys? I remember you posted the top guys a while back but quite a lot has happened since then, so I'm just curious to see who it likes

@KkinggJjamess @slipthescreen @EvanMiya I'm not all that familiar with BPR or Landrew really, so I won't comment on it. Landrew seems to be really good though. With Amosov there are some positional questions.

Grasshoff’s one to watch for 2027 draft. Good size, turnover averse, efficient scorer, and gets a lot of steals. If he can increase his offensive load, while retaining his efficiency and two-way turnover impact, then he’ll be a serious prospect.
