@tmitsss@Craig_A_Spencer Yeah, they never accepted covid patients on board. I understand why they made that decision, and it can't have been an easy one, but as you said they barely helped.
@PunishedHoots I would look around for history about beriberi and the Japanese navy. People were told they could eat as much white rice as they wanted if they joined up and it ended badly.
It looks like in the early 40s they the US started fortifying white rice(and more) to cause less problems
@michaelphigham@PixelatedVicka It's weird, cause Buuz is a real food from Mongolia and are also steamed dumplings, but those are definitely closer to Baozi or Siopao as far as I can tell.
@ShadowNeverSeen Oh yeah, the credits surprised me as well! I was too worried about finally upgrading the clinic so the beds would stop looking like they give everyone tetanus.
@shawnyutzey Heck yeah! Glad to know you've been taken such good care of yourself, and I'm looking forward to seeing you back, whatever that ends up looking like.
@cioccolato_kun Reminds me of the first episode of GARO. They hunt down demons in lots of places, but the first one was a cursed painting.
I would totally watch a full show of that, especially if it got nerdy about art history. Heck, restoration could be a cool thing too.
@iblue89 @thatcasualdragn @Sunyasue @TheAuthorGuy and you are not sure how to do that without hurting others. I don't wish to be hurt right now, so I'm gonna step away. I hope you are able to find what you are looking for. If you need inspiration to help you with anything, Mr. Rogers is never a bad choice

@iblue89 @thatcasualdragn @Sunyasue @TheAuthorGuy I know you were trying to insult me, but then you put Mr. Rogers in, one of the most compassionate, kind, and patient man to recently grace the earth.
I'm gonna stop responding to this thread because I believe you do not want to have a discussion, you want to be right, and 1/
@iblue89 @thatcasualdragn @Sunyasue @TheAuthorGuy That said, the definition of insurrection is different from the legal charges.
As someone else said, merriam webster defines insurrection as "an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government" which this was, so their use of it is still correct
@iblue89 @thatcasualdragn @Sunyasue @TheAuthorGuy Sentencing takes time, as it should. Most of the current resolved cases appear to be plea deals.
As for how many have been sentenced for insurrection, from what I could find in my 5 min of googling, currently 0. A few for Seditious Conspiracy, but not insurrection specifically
