Ultimately, we do have closer to 560 skits recorded, but the early days were.... terrible. I sucked at recording those until I learned more about how VRChat works (and the later introduced Spout function) and brought in more members to help record.
So huzzah! Onward to 500 more!
The @blepcon community does weekly @VRChat hangouts, and part of that involves "Audience Anarchy" skits (by @vr_jar ).
This past week, we've hit over 500 officially recorded skits.
These are recorded and edited with 12-13 camera angles across six accounts.
Since we have lots of mixed hardware types, the final product is currently delivered at 4K/30p: It's upscaled back to 4K as this unlocks encoder potentials when uploading to video sharing sites (We primarily use a custom https://t.co/520b6vJhOj instance).
"I listened to Spotify for 150,000 minutes this year!"
"I listened to it for 190,000 minutes!"
"I never turn it off, it shows over 400,000 minutes for me!"
Me: "Thanks for giving Spotify justification to raise the monthly price of Premium on the rest of us."
Yearly reminder before #PVCF25 kicks off, that @PonyCiderfest made the choice to not ban SamuDash. While that is their right to make that choice, by doing this they have actively forced parents and underage guest into an impossible and Unsafe situation, for one man and Money.
ProBot has just been hacked, presumably. A huge number of people are joining the support server and the bot has spammed โeveryone hackedโ on the support server.
ProBot & ProBot Prime are currently offline!
Many of my friends are on @telegram , so I got an account.
Three weeks later, the account was "frozen".
As of today, it is fully banned.
No warnings. No reasons. No response from *any* support team.
I'm now part of the over 3 million people banned this year.
@RedCard94 ...it wasn't the pedo on staff (last I knew was on staff, anyways, and ignored) that did them in, but a spicy con chair?
....that's.... I didn't have *that* one on my Bingo card.
@Corejo_WSB@saphypone Many of the cons have been having issues for many years, but con staff simply "remain hopeful" or blissfully unaware of the issues until all hell breaks loose.
SQF has had dangerous issues since day 1, but most refused to believe it, well, until now, it would seem.
@maudpieirl ...it took this many years for people to figure it out? Sucks that you got blindsided by it. The dirt was out *years* ago but it all got swept under the rug.
@VRChat , this is the third "major" API outage in four days, all happening around the same time (8-10pm EST).
Not really wanting to be fussy about this as I SHOULD instead be touching grass, but I also don't see acknowledgement of the issue.
Are you aware of it?
By generating AI content, you give more fuel to this plague. Besides the obvious theft of actual creators who put in real effort for their creations, Gen-AI provides zero benefit to society, and instead gives ammo to those who attack the most vulnerable of our society.
The absolute "best" part about Gen-AI content is that while it is used on social media to farm likes and stir drama (people calling out the fakes), more specifically it is used to find gullible people who believe the content is real so they can be targeted for scams.
Since creating Gen-AI content is the result of generally unintelligent miniscule effort on the prompt-writer's part, regardless of the quality of the output, the most unobservant will believe it to be real content. These people are extremely easy targets to be taken advantage of.
