@NYCComptroller 10 yrs after Sandy and all the city has done in Manhattan is develop land where there was the worst flooding, let the walkway on the East River crumble (deliberately), and chop down trees. It is heartbreaking. Wealthiest city in the world and this is the best we can do?

@NYCComptroller "Don't help"? The city's actions here undermine the rule of law. The mayor's "coastal resiliency plan" is a joke. Where I live, along the river but w/out trees to chop down, we are supposedly getting some metal gates that pop up to protect us. Seriously.

FlyNYON regularly passes my apt at 450ft but usually not over it. But N7159H is out of control. Just flew at 850ft with feet dangling out over my building. NYC, please control the airspace. This is dangerous! @nycisfine @GovKathyHochul @SenSchumer @BanTheHellies @StoptheChopNYNJ

@BanTheHellies Oh yeah, believe me I'm all in favor of the protest and should have been there. It was just a remarkable amount of useless circling -- hours. But I have the same feeling about the police presence at that protest, too.
